I believe there are many tools in the healthier lifestyle tool box, we just have to know what, when, why and how to apply them. As Maslow once quoted - "I suppose it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail".
The approach to a healthy lifestyle is multifaceted. You can't just do one thing hoping for the best. Instead it has to be a bit of this, a bit of that, less of the other, and willingly responding to feedback (qualitative or quantitative) which leads to making better decisions about one's health.
