Here some of my group are attempting a bench jump from one to another for the first time during Primal Playout class. There is only a small margin of error possible on landing and although not at a great height - it feels almost impossible once you are up there. You can sense the nervous anticipation when watching the video.
The great thing about this activity and being mindful in movement is that our group has had enough experience of various activities and the consequences of overstretching themselves under safe conditions.
I will guide - but they decide if they are ready or not. Or if the moment is right.
We instinctively know our own limitations and are wise enough not to put ourselves at unnecessary risk.
