  • 20 sec 1 arm KB Clean & Press**, 10 sec Rest - (repeat for 8 rounds).
  • rest - 30 sec
  • 20 sec Air Squats, 10s rest - (repeat for 8 rounds)
  • rest - 30 sec
  • 20 sec Drivers, 10s rest - (repeat for 8 rounds)
  • rest - 30 sec
  • 20 sec standing start Long Jumps (max effort),10 sec rest - (repeat for 8 rounds)
  • rest - 2m 30 sec

KB = 20kg Kettlebell - male, 12kg - female, you can substitute dumbbells for kettlebells (but add 2kg). 
** KB should touch floor in between reps, swap arms as needed.

Workout: Animal Magic

I achieved a new PB on my 1 Rep Max deadlift of 205kg yesterday, so this workout was not fun at all!  I tried to back out of it, but as it was planned with my client some time ago, I could not postpone...

I have a new appreciation for the Driver Sprints today too, it is such a humbling experience!

Warmup:

50  Kettlebell - Squat Clean & Press

10 x 10 sec Driver Sprints

50 x 2 arm Kettlebell Swings (24kg)

50 Overhead Walking Lunges (25kg bumper plate)

50 Salamander Press-Ups

50 Bear Crawls

50 Crab Walks

50 Crocodile Walks

50 Rabbit Walks

50 Monkey Walks

Paleo: Community Survey 2011

2011 Paleo Community Survey

The purpose of this survey is to collect information about paleo diet community members, including demographic information, medical conditions, dietary preferences, and physical activity.

The resulting data will be invaluable in terms of understanding the nature of the paleo movement. It will be provided to other bloggers and researchers with the goal of providing a clearer picture of how the paleo diet has affected the lives of its adherents.

Survey respondents will remain anonymous, your name or other identifying information will not be collected. The survey itself is relatively short and should only take a couple of minutes to complete.

Several incentives for completion of the survey have been provided, and will be explain further at the end of the survey. These include a coupon code for Paleo Treats products and the opportunity to win one of several giveaway Amazon.com gift cards.
